At Stereoscope, we appreciate the creative spirit of independent filmmakers and recognize that capital raising for indie projects is extremely challenging in today’s economic environment. In view of such challenges, we have developed a unique program which provides an initial capital boost, foreign sales representation and a “bricks and mortar” production studio home base.
From our fully equipped 8500 square foot production facility in Burbank California we are seeking qualified projects which range in budget from $500,000 to $2,000,000 across all genres, 2D and 3D. To qualify, filmmakers must have secured cash funding equal to 50% or more of the overall budget with such funds to be documented and verifiable. Projects selected will receive the benefit of (1) a deferral commitment equal to approximately 20% of the overall budget, (2) sales and distribution guidance and possible representation from our in-house distribution partner, and (3) use of Stereoscope facilities for investor meetings, screenings, crowd funding activities, administration and other development initiatives.
